Hatha Yoga Pradipika Workshop: May 21st – 22nd, 2011
The Hatha Yoga Pradipika is an ancient scripture describing the philosophy and practice of Hatha Yoga. While many have come to think of Hatha Yoga simply as a series of exercises, it is actually a systematic practice for achieving liberation.
In this weekend workshop, Acharya Hersh Khetarpal and other senior teachers at the Ashram will guide us through the seven steps described in the Hatha Yoga Pradipika: Shat Karams (cleansings), Asanas (physical exercises), mudras and bandhs (subtle movements and locks), Pranayama (breath and energy control), Pratyahara (discipline of senses), Dhyana (meditation), and Samadhi (self-realization).
Join us for a weekend of enlightening discussions and purifying practices held on Ashram’s peaceful acreage of rolling hills and majestic trees!
