Therapeutic yoga is particularly effective for those recovering from, or living with, injury or illness. It blends restorative yoga (supported postures), breathwork, hands-on-adjustments, and guided meditation techniques. It is an excellent choice for those who need something gentle yet effective for bringing the body into balance and reducing stress.

Due to popular demand for this type of asana class, we will once again offer a therapeutic yoga class series taught by Neeta Mohanty. Class will be held for 6 Saturdays beginning April 5th from 10:15am to 11:30am with a suggested offering of $75. Due to the hands-on nature of the class, it is limited to 12 students, and enrollment is required.

Vade Sankar, a dedicated volunteer teacher the Ashram, will teach this hands on workshop on Spiritual Nutrition. The workshop will include lecture as well as cooking and juicing demonstrations. Topics covered include qualities of sattvic food, prana in foods, fasting, and juicing.
