Therapeutic yoga is particularly effective for those recovering from, or living with, injury or illness. It blends restorative yoga (supported postures), breathwork, hands-on-adjustments, and guided meditation techniques. It is an excellent choice for those who need something gentle yet effective for bringing the body into balance and reducing stress.
Due to popular demand for this type of asana class, we will begin offering a therapeutic yoga class series taught by Neeta Mohanty. Class will be held for 6 Saturdays beginning October 13th from 10:00am to 11:15am. Due to the hands-on nature of the class, it is limited to 12 students, and enrollment is required. We will offer this series again in 2013.
